Sergio Perez claims Red Bulls’ success is not down to ‘one single individual’ amidst Adrian Newey’s recent exit

While Sergio Perez has deemed Red Bull’s success a team effort, he also believes that Adrian Newey‘s decision to leave the reigning champions is completely fair. Perez only wishes the best for the Brit going forward.

After the recent announcement, Newey has switched his focus toward Red Bull’s Hypercar project.

Someone like Adrian [Newey] has been tremendous to our team, to our organisation. And he's a very good friend of mine as well, in this time that we spent together. But at the end of the day, there are times in life - I think he's spent like 20 years at Red Bull. I think he probably wants to do something else, and it's fair.
