Inter Milan Hoping To Offload Multiple Fringe Players To Fund Summer Signings

Inter Milan are hoping they can raise cash to fund summer signings with the sales of a number of fringe players on their books.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

This summer, Inter are targeting signings in a few key areas of the pitch.

And the Nerazzurri’s intention is to spend at least a decent chunk of cash on targets such as Albert Gudmundsson, Alessandro Buongiorno, and Bento.

This money will have to come from somewhere.

The Gazzetta confirm that Inter’s plan is to have another “net zero” transfer window like last summer.

In other words, any money that Inter spend on transfer fees for signings will have to come from fees that they receive from sales.

On the other hand, Inter do not want to lose any key players from the starting eleven.

If there is a candidate to depart for a sizable fee, it would be Denzel Dumfries. However, it is starting to look more and more like the Dutchman could instead sign a contract extension.

Inter Hoping To Raise Cash For Signings From Sales Of Fringe Players

Inter’s hope is that they can reach a significant amount of money from sales by selling a number of players currently out on loan.

Filip Stankovic, Sebastiano Esposito, Francesco Pio Esposito, and Martin Satriano are among those who could leave.

Then, the likes of goalkeeper Andrei Radu and defender Zinho Vanheusden are likely to finally leave Inter on a permanent basis for a fee this summer.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta anticipate, Inter would entertain offers for veteran striker Marko Arnautovic.

The Nerazzurri are also still hoping that Marseille win the Europa League. This would cause the French side to qualify for the Champions League.

Then, Marseille would be obligated to sign forward Joaquin Correa on a permanent basis for a fee of around €10 million.
